Arthur Mitchell, BS, LCDC
Arthur S. Mitchell, BA, Ed, LCDC is Board President and CEO at By The Way Community Development Inc. and a licensed chemical dependency counselor. Mr. Mitchell graduated from the University of Houston in Chemical Dependency Counseling and earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts, Education from Jacksonville Theology Seminar.
Mr. Mitchell has extensive experience in behavior research methods and counseling theory for alcohol, tobacco, and drug addiction. He offers individual and group chemical dependency counseling to clients engaged in alcohol and substance abuse programs.
Clients receive psychosocial assessments to discover relevant drug recovery services and develop tailor-made treatment plans. Mr. Mitchell connects directly with prison wardens and state agency officials to identify those individuals who need to participate in the offender programs.
